About Me
I my career began as an engineer, went back to grad school for a semester, dropped out to work as an analyst on a commodities desk, progressed to trader, quit after three years, traveled for a year, and began working on my own. Academia and corporate jobs are not my calling.
I am interested in data driven strategy, philosophy, and self-mastery. My hobbies and interests include outdoor adventure (fly fishing, backpacking, and backcountry skiing), endurance running, and world travel, as well as poker, reading, music, and comedy. I am currently combining my hobbies and intellectual interests with my career. Several of my current projects are linked here.
